From an early age, I've been fascinated by change. 

 

It's the inevitable yet often unforeseen force that influences planning, processes and outcomes. For the last decade, I've been obsessing with how to embrace it, absorb its turbulence and help teams deliver great products and outcomes while transitioning to Agile ways of working.

Recent events have illustrated how teams must be able to quickly adapt to changing work, market, technology, and even human trends to continue to operate effectively — in some cases, to operate at all.

This focus on continuous improvement alongside continuous delivery draws me to Agile. Its principles are oriented around embracing change and using it to your advantage, something I'm passionate about. I help teams foster and embrace this mindset of learning-while-doing, helping them get results they can be proud of.

At the core of what I do is helping customers and software teams better understand the problems that we need to solve. From requirements elicitation to creating user stories, product backlogs, planning sprints and retros and measuring product success. I pride myself on being organised, thorough and efficient. 

Optimising Business Processes

Few processes are robust enough to stand the test of time. Those that do become littered with  unnecessary and redundant tasks. I help identify which are truly necessary to deliver better team performance and increase business value. Instead of wasting time on a useless task, your employees will be able to focus on what’s important, and what does contribute to the business.

Business & Technology Alignment

In my experience, business and technical teams work and collaborate best when the organisational strategy and vision is on their minds and behind their decision making. I align standups, retros, sprints, backlogs and user stories to this vision. I help deflect distractions while being a trusted source of advice, support and coaching to individuals to help them deliver great work.
